Lytho Technologies (OPC) Private Limited
Effective starting: May 23, 2026 · Version 1.0
1.1. This page describes how a Lytho user can permanently delete their account and the business data associated with it. This page is published in accordance with Google Play’s Data Safety requirements and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).
1.2. Lytho uses zero-knowledge encryption for sensitive business data — slabs, blocks, parties, ledger entries, holds, sales, and photos. Encryption keys never leave your device unencrypted. Deletion of your account and access keys renders the encrypted ciphertext on our servers permanently undecryptable; we have no technical means to recover it after deletion.
2.1. Open the Lytho mobile application on your device and sign in.
2.2. Navigate to Settings → Account → Delete account.
2.3. Confirm the deletion in the prompt. The action cannot be undone.
2.4. Upon confirmation, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:
2.5. Some operational logs (sign-in timestamps, security events, billing records) may be retained for the period required by applicable law and the DPDP Act — typically up to 7 years for tax and statutory purposes. These logs do not contain decrypted business data.
3.1. If you cannot access the application (for example, you lost your device or your recovery phrase), you may request deletion by sending an email from your registered email address to parth@lytho.co.in.
3.2. Include the following in your email:
3.3. We will verify the ownership of the account against the registered details on file and complete the deletion within 7 business days of verification. We will send a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
4.1. Because of our zero-knowledge architecture, most of your business data on our servers is encrypted with keys that exist only on your devices. We cannot decrypt this data and we cannot restore it after deletion.
4.2. If you want a copy of your business data before deletion, please use the Settings → Account → Export data option inside the application before initiating deletion. This generates a downloadable archive of your decrypted records that you may store independently.
